Stratifyx is a geospatial analytics and ecological intelligence company. We help landowners understand the ecological and economic value of their land — turning decades of on-the-ground restoration science into tools that make that value legible, auditable, and financeable. We’re a small team moving fast, owned by Pantheon Regeneration.

We're looking for an AI Systems Engineer to join us. This role is about finding proprietary data sets and further integrating AI into Stratifyx's product: creating a native AI environment, developing agents and subagents, integrating large language models into existing workflows, and working towards recursive self-learning in siloed workflows. Looking to find places in the platform where intelligent automation creates real leverage. You'll work directly with the product and ecology teams, and there's potential scope to support Pantheon's broader operations as well.

What You’ll Do

• Help build an AI-native Product: Design and develop AI agents and agentic workflows that integrate into Stratifyx’s core platform. Take projects and feature sets from prototype to production and own the result.
• Integrate the Microsoft Stack: Build and maintain integrations across Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, and M365. The Microsoft catalog is our operating environment — fluency is the core requirement.
• Work Across Teams: Sit with the product team, the ecology team, and leadership to understand where AI can compress time, reduce manual work, add analytical depth and deploy recursive learning to increase competence and scale. Translate what’s technically possible into what’s actually useful.
• Iterate Quickly: We move fast. You should be comfortable scoping, building, and shipping in short cycles, then learning from what’s in front of you.

Who You Are

• Deep in the Microsoft AI Catalog: You know Azure, Claude Code, OpenAI, Copilot Studio, and M365 integrations — not just what the documentation says they can do, but what they actually do three integrations deep when nothing is behaving like the demo.
• A Builder: You have shipped agents, automations and agentic systems in production environments. You can show us what you built, what it replaced, and what surprised you.
• Comfortable with Ambiguity: You’re at ease being the only person in the room who knows what’s possible. You don’t wait for a complete spec — you scope, propose, and move.
• A Strong Communicator: You can bridge technical and non-technical teams. The science team doesn’t speak in API calls; you’ll need to meet them where they are.
• Curious About Our Domain: Experience with geospatial data, scientific workflows, or environmental datasets is a genuine plus. We’re not requiring prior knowledge of peatland carbon accounting — the AI fluency comes first.
